Despite the continuing efforts we cannot be truly satisfied with our understanding of the physics in the UV (short distance) limit. The manifestation is that there is no broadly accepted model of quantum gravity. For this reason it is important to explore new avenues and formulations. With this in mind I will present a formalism based on gauging rigid higher spin symmetries leading to Yang-Mills type theories in the master space, which apparently avoids higher spin no-go theorems. The formalism has also geometrical interpretation closely connected to teleparallelism.
