B-decay discrepancies in the context of the global likelihood

I present a global likelihood function in the space of dimension-six Wilson coefficients in the Standard Model Effective Field Theory (SMEFT) above the electroweak (EW) scale and the Weak Effective Theory (WET) below the EW scale, which includes contributions from a large number of flavour and electroweak precision observables, 280 in total. This likelihood can serve as a basis either for model-independent fits or for testing dynamical models, in particular models built to address the discrepancies between experimental data and Standard Model predictions in B-physics. I present interpretations of these B-decay discrepancies in the WET, the SMEFT, and in simplified models.
