How to get there:

From Barcelona El Prat Airport:

The company MonBus operates a bus service from Barcelona airport to Sitges: www.monbus.cat (website in English, French, Catalan and Spanish ) Contact details: e-mail: info@monbus.cat - Tel. (+34) 93 893 70 60 The company website shows timetables and prices. There is a surcharge for fares to and from the airport. The MonBus bus stop is at Terminal 1 (T1). There is a free airport shuttle bus for passengers arriving at Terminal 2 (T2) located under the bridge outside T2B. The distance between the two terminals is 4km and the ride takes between 10-15 minutes. The shuttle bus runs every 7 minutes, 24/7.

The airport train station is situated opposite Terminal 2 (T2), and is connected to this terminal via an airbridge. There is also a Bustransit service between the train station and T1. To get to Sitges you need to change trains at the station of El Prat de Llobregat and take a train in the opposite direction. Itinerary: Airport-El Prat de Llobregat (one stop). Service from the airport starts at 05.42 until 23.38. Trains run every 30 mins. Change trains at El Prat. Train for Sitges on Line R2 Sud takes 24 mins. Trains run every 30 minutes.

There are taxi ranks at the main exits for Terminal 1 (T1) and Terminal 2 (T2). The fare for the ride is shown on the meter. In addition there are surcharges for luggage, port/airport pick-up and drop-off and toll charges if you take the motorway. (Fares are shown on a price list inside the taxi). Taxi service is available 24/7. There is no shortage of taxis. The trip takes around 30 minutes.

From Reus (Tarragona) Airport

There is no direct bus route from Reus Airport to Sitges. The "Hispano Igualadina” bus company runs a service from Reus airport to Barcelona train station Estació de Sants and vice-versa. Timetables are shown on the website www.igualadina.com. Tel. (+34) 977 77 06 98 - 902 29 29 00 The journey takes between 1hr 30mins and 1hr 45mins. To get from Estació de Sants to Sitges, take the train.(Please refer to the section on train travel.)


From Barcelona:

This train service is available from three different train stations in Barcelona:
Barcelona-Sants
Located in the Sants neighbourhood (Plaça dels Països Catalans, s/n), it is the main station for long distance national and international trains. Metro L3 & L5
Barcelona-Estació de França
This station is located next to the Ciutadella Park on Avinguda Marqués de l'Argentera 1, between the neighbourhoods of La Barceloneta and La Ribera (also known as the Born neighbourhood) Metro L4
Barcelona-Passeig de Gràcia
Passeig de Gràcia is an underground railway and metro station located on the boulevard from which it takes its name at the height of Carrer Aragó (access available in front of Gaudí's Casa Batlló on Passeig de Gràcia, 43). Metro L2, L3 & L4.

By Bus, the distance of 38km is covered in 45-55 min, depending on the number of stops the bus makes on the way. Not all buses stop at the airport. The Barcelona service starts on Ronda Universidad, 33 between Calle Balmes and Plaza Catalunya. There is another stop on Calle Sepúlveda and another at Plaza España. The Sitges stop is in front of the Parc Can Robert on Avenida Vilanova, 14. The company that runs this service is Mon Bus, which also offers transport between the towns of Sitges, Vilanova i la Geltrú & Sant Pere de Ribes.
