Two ICREA researchers join the ICCUB
The researchers Raul Jimenez and Licia Verde have joined the ICCUB as of June 15th. Drs. Jimenez and Verde are both well known cosmologists.
Raul Jimenez (Madrid, 1967) got his PhD in 1995 at the University of Copenhagen. He developed his career at the universities of Edinburgh, Rutgers and Pennsylvania before joining the ICE (CSIC) as an ICREA professor in 2007. He will continue his appointment as ICREA professor at the ICCUB.
Licia Verde (Venice, 1971) obtained her PhD degree at the University of Edinburgh in 2001. She has held positions at Columbia University, Caltech, Edinburgh, Rutgers and Princeton. She also joined the ICE (CSIC) in 2007.
Recently she also decided to move her ICREA professorship to the ICCUB.
Drs. Jimenez and Verde will effectively join the Instut de Ciencies del Cosmos on June 25th. Their offices will be in the new IEEC / ICCUB premises on the 7th floor.
