I am a Junior Leader ‘la Caixa’ postdoctoral fellow (LCF/BQ/PI23/11970027) at the Institute of Cosmos Sciences of the University of Barcelona (ICCUB), working on the project “Looking for concordance in Cosmology through a model-independent assessment of data consistency and the exploration of physics beyond ΛCDM”. I am a theoretical cosmologist with a very strong interest in constraining fundamental physics with observations. I use the wide spectrum of cosmological data at our disposal to: (i) learn about the nature of dark energy and dark matter, and constrain their potential interactions; (ii) test the validity of General Relativity at cosmological scales; (iii) extract model-independent information about the Universe; (iv) constrain properties of the subatomic realm to inform the Particle Physics community; and (vi) study the origin of the tensions that afflict the standard model of Cosmology and find possible solutions, mainly focusing on the Hubble and growth tensions. I have worked on running vacuum models, scalar-tensor theories of gravity, dynamical dark energy at late times, early dark energy and coupled quintessence models. I have also worked on improving the efficiency of Monte Carlo analyses and the quantification of the cosmological tensions. I did my PhD on “Vacuum Energy in Quantum Field Theory and Cosmology” under the supervision of Prof. Joan Solà Peracaula at ICCUB [arXiv:1710.01978]. Then I worked as a postdoc in the cosmology group led by Prof. Luca Amendola at the Institute for Theoretical Physics of Heidelberg, supported by a fellowship from the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG). Later on, I worked for the Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare (INFN) in Rome as an INFN fellow, at University Tor Vergata, on the project of the InDark Special Initiative “Dark Energy and Modified Gravity Models in the light of Low-Redshift Observations” (n. 22425/2020).
