I am a PhD student interested in dynamical astrophysics, especially in the origin and properties of black hole binaries (two black holes orbiting each other). The endstate of black hole binaries is the merger of the two black holes, one of the most violent processes in the Universe, and one which can be directly measured by gravitational waves. Apart from this, I have also worked on the theoretical properties of event horizons and done technical data analysis for the ESA Gaia mission.
