Although 5d gauge theories are naively non-renormalizable, in certain cases they can be at fixed points. These fixed points exhibit quite amusing properties, such as enhanced E-type global symmetries. In this talk we will introduce three infinite families of 5d gauge theories of quiver type which can be put at a fixed point. The theories are engineered in a configuration of D4 branes probing an orbifold of Type I´string theory, and we argue that they are dual to AdS_6xS^4 warped backgrounds; which in particular demonstrates the existence of such fixed points for quiver-type theories.
