Embarking on the journey towards a PhD can sometimes feel like a solitary endeavor, but that doesn't mean you have to do it alone! The ICC predoctoral community is coming together to create a supportive network, meeting once a week to share knowledge, insights, and support.

These informal gatherings have three main objectives.
Firstly, we aim to establish a network by getting to know each other and our research areas, enabling us to discover new opportunities for informal collaboration.
Secondly, we want to enhance our skills and knowledge, not just for our academic careers but also for life beyond the university. From improving our presentation skills to exploring different academic paths, we want to build a strong foundation for success.
Last but not least, we want to create a safe space for open and honest discussion, sharing our worries and concerns, and reflecting on the impact of a PhD on our mental health and well-being.

These meetings are entirely organized from the ground-up, coordinated by the PhD Meetings Representatives. Currently held every Wednesday at 2pm in the Pere Pascual Seminar Room, we invite you to join us! Simply send an email to any of the PhD Meetings Representatives or the PhD student mailing list -phd-students@icc.ub.edu- and we'll tell you all about them.

Looking forward to seeing you there!
