Bumpy Black Holes

General Relativity in higher number of dimensions is different and richer in a variety of ways. As opposed to the four dimensional uniqueness theorems, in higher dimensions there are different allowed horizon topologies for asymptotically flat stationary vacuum solutions (Myers-Perry, black ring, black Saturn, etc.). In addition, the interplay between rotation and gravitational attraction changes as the number of dimensions is increased. In this talk I will review some of the properties and instabilities of rotating black holes and I will introduce bumpy black holes, new stationary vacuum solutions (with bumpy horizons) that connect between known solutions with different topologies.
