The CKM angle gamma is one of the least constrained parameters of the standard model. Roughly speaking, it is the complex phase of the CKM matrix element V_ub and, therefore, it is measured in a variety of B meson decay channels. I will first describe the different methods that currently exist to measure or constrain it. These methods produce either a direct measurement of gamma or other parameters of interest that constrain the information about it. Then I will summarise the LHCb analyses that have measured parameters of interest and the combination of all the results, which is the official LHCb measured value of gamma. Then I will describe a new approach to measure the parameters of interest simultaneously in multiple B meson decay channels, and a simple strategy to take charm mixing into account in this measurement. Finally, I will describe a likely future scenario for LHCb using this simultaneous approach.
