I discuss consequences of aberration and Doppler effects due to our peculiar velocity with respect to the Cosmic Microwave Background, emphasizing their relevance for the recent Planck satellite results. In particular I will explain how this effect has been used to measure our velocity and the impact it can have on other observables: power spectrum, emispherical asymmetries and bispectrum.
