Abstract: Microquasars,  jetted binary systems formed by an accreting compact object and a donor optical star, demonstrate bright emission across the entire electromagnetic spectrum with prominent non-thermal leptonic emission seen, in particular, in the radio and soft gamma-ray bands. The recent detection of a number of microquasars with HAWC, HESS, and LHAASO in the very-high-energy (VHE; >100 GeV) and even in the ultra-high-energy regimes (UHE; >100 TeV) proved that particle acceleration processes operate exceptionally efficient in these sources. This makes microquasars to be perfect space laboratories to study the acceleration, transport, and radiation of ultrarelativistic particles.
