Abstract: In this talk, I will focus on dark matter with a mass around the eV scale and discuss its theoretical motivations and prospects for future searches. I will also present our recent proposal for a mechanism that could explain the similarity between the baryon and dark matter abundances, as well as a concept for a new infrared spectrograph that could be used for eV dark matter searches and astronomical applications.
