The talk covers my recent research activities in flavour and high-energy physics: In the flavour-part of the talk, I discuss the anomalies found at the LHC in b --> s mu mu decays and present fits of the effective Wilson coefficients to the data. I further discuss the perspectives to discover lepton-flavour violating b --> s tau mu decays in the context of a generic Z' model. In the high-energy part of the talk, I present the tools Collier and Recola for the automated calculation of NLO QCD and electroweak corrections in multi-leg processes. As an application, I discuss the results obtained for the electroweak corrections to ZZ production at the LHC.
