Hot topics in heavy-flavor physics

I present an overview of the (major) progress recently made by experiment on various Bd- and Bs-meson decays. I focus on those processes that bear highest promise for experimental and/or theoretical reasons, elaborating in particular on the (few) existing tensions with respect to the SM. I also provide an outlook after LHC's LS1 and LS2 for each of the considered quantities, emphasizing how far they can go as probes of non-SM physics.
