Nowadays, creating inclusive environments within research teams is pivotal for innovation and progress. This interactive one-hour-and-a-half workshop will equip participants with the tools and insights necessary to lead research teams with a gender-inclusive lens. 

Understanding gender perspectives in research leadership involves recognizing and addressing the disparities, biases, and unique challenges that individuals of different genders face within academic and research environments. It involves fostering an inclusive and equitable environment where everyone has equal opportunities to contribute and thrive, being this the aim of the workshop.

Main topics of this workshop:

1) Understanding the importance of diversity in research teams.

2) Exploring strategies for overcoming barriers to inclusivity.

3) Discussion and debate on best practices
