LHCb is a particle physics experiment of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), the highest energy collider in the world that will start its operation at CERN during this year 2008. LHCb has been successfully installed in its final position, and a group of the University of Barcelona have been an essential part of this achievement. LHCb is a specialist b-physics experiment aimed at measuring the properties of B mesons particles, to investigate a physics mystery - why today\'s universe is full of matter instead of an equal mix of matter and antimatter.We will also study the rare decays of B mesons that could serve to identify new physics.
