Neutrino properties from cosmology.

Neutrinos are one of the most elusive particles in the Standard Model. The tiny cross-sections with the other Standard-Model particles makes the study of their fundamental properties a significant experimental challenge. For example, even though it has been known for decades that neutrinos are massive particles, the absolute scale of their mass remains still unknown. In turn, current understandings of particle physics and cosmology predicts that the Universe should be field with hundreds of neutrinos per cubic centimeter. This makes cosmology a perfect environment for exploring neutrino properties since such an abundant particle plays a relevant role in the history of the Universe. In this talk I will introduce the interplay between neutrino masses and neutrino interaction in cosmology, emphasizing some implications for Earth-based neutrino experiments.
