The Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey of the Sloan Digital Sky Survey has completed measuring redshifts of 1.2 million galaxies covering almost 10,000 square degrees in the sky over the redshift range between 0.20 and 0.75. The clustering analysis of the galaxy distribution has measured with unprecedented precision 1) the signature of Baryon Acoustic Oscillations from the early Universe, constraining the expansion history of the Universe (and therefore Dark Energy models) and 2) the presence of Redshift Space Distortions due to large scale bulk flows, constraining the growth history of the large scale structure (and therefore alternatives to General Relativity). I will present an overview of the compilation of papers that have been posted recently, focusing on the novelties in the analysis, their cosmological interpretation, and concluding with lessons learned for the next generation of galaxy surveys.
