I will review the SM EFT where the Standard Model Lagrangian is extended to include the full set of dimension-6 operators. Experimental constraints on some of these operators from the LHC Higgs measurements will be discussed. I will also present some interesting consequences of deforming the Standard Model by adding Higgs interactions that cannot be obtained from local higher-dimensional operators.
