Top-Antitop Threshold Production at the ILC

Themeasurement of the top-antitopresonance line-shape is a major goal at the planned International LinearCollider (ILC). It will allow for a precise determination of the properties ofthe top quark and reveal details about its interactions. In particular the massof the top quark may be extracted with unprecedented precision from theexpected experimental data. On the theory side this requires a very preciseprediction of the top-antitopproduction cross section in the threshold region. In this talk I will sketchthe calculation of the renormalization group improved total cross section usingNRQCD and discuss the latest results focusing on the theoretical uncertainties.I will also consider the impact of experimental cuts on the reconstructed topand antitopinvariant masses.
