The Stanford Ranking, which is based on information provided by the Scopus database, evaluates researchers based on their production and impact in the fields of knowledge to which their publications belong. The inclusion of a substantial number of ICCUB researchers in this ranking highlights ICCUB’s established role in the fields of physics and astronomy.
The University of Barcelona (UB) is the Spanish university with the most researchers in this group of leading scientists. Within the UB, ICCUB members constitute 12% of the total researchers in the ranking. This significant representation remarks on the institute’s position in the global scientific community and its contributions to cutting-edge research.
