The University of Barcelona is proud to announce that the project "Commercialisation of a device for measuring and controlling light pollution," led by ICCUB Director Xavier Luri, has been selected for the Mentor in Residence (MiR) program by the Fundació Bosch i Gimpera (FBG).
The Mentor in Residence program, supported by Banco Santander, provides specialized mentorship to entrepreneurial teams, guiding them through various stages of development and fundraising. With a budget of 12,000 euros, the program aims to strengthen the foundation of University of Barcelona spin-offs, ensuring their success from inception.
Dr. Luri's project is one of several selected for this year's MiR program, which is part of the broader Fund for the Promotion of Innovation (F2I) initiative. The F2I aims to bring University of Barcelona technologies closer to market requirements, fostering innovation and technology transfer.
