I'm Gabor Orosz, a postdoctoral researcher at ICCUB, working on the cosmology ERC project RedH0T. As part of the project, I use single-dish radio and very long baseline interferometry (VLBI) to observe maser sources and use them to measure geometric distances to galaxies in the Hubble flow. I did my PhD at Kagoshima University in Japan on stellar maser research using VLBI, a topic I still actively pursue. For many years I was also a VLBI support scientist for projects and networks, including the European VLBI Network.
