The Fundació Joan Miró, in collaboration with the Universitat de Barcelona and Parc Astronòmic Montsec has organized a public viewing night.

The observation, free and has limited seats, will take place on Saturday April 30 at 21:30 within the action on the field of the collection "Violence, Escape" on the terraces of the Fundació Miró.

The activity is based on Miro's interest in celestial bodies as the collection of the Foundation evidenced, especially in the area "Violence, Escape." The viewing session will enable visitors to discover different coloured stars, to distinguish double stars or to understand what the globular and open clusters are.

The public will be distributed to avoid crowds and to observe calmly.

From 21:30 to 23:30 h attendees can join the guided tours of the collection Joan Miro.

Astronomers observing guide belong to the Department of Quantum Physics and Astrophysics at the University of Barcelona, ​​the Institute of Cosmos Sciences (IEEC-UB) and the Parc Astronòmic Montsec.
