The aim of the call is to award PhD fellowships, which will allow the applicant to hold the title of Doctor at its completion and the acquisition of university teaching skills in any area of scientific knowledge.
We are seeking highly talented and motivated students to apply for a FPU (Ministerio de Universidades) PhD grant.
Requirements
- Requirements for the applicant:
- Candidates must not hold a PhD.
- Candidates must have enroled to a Doctoral Program at the deadline or, certify you hold a Master degree or an enrolment to a Master the course 2021-2022.
- End date of the Bachelor (240 ECTS) later than January 1st, 2018 or January 1st, 2017 when the Bachelor is of 180 ECTS. This limit can be extended in certain circumstances.
- Bachelor minimum average grade of 7,12
- Master minimum average grade of 8,33
- In the case of degrees obtained in foreign university systems, you must issue a Declaration of Average Grades (more information afterwards).
- Requirements for the thesis supervisor:
- The thesis supervisor must hold a PhD and have a contractual relation along the grant with the University.
- The thesis supervisor can support one application per call.

Employment conditions
The duration of the contract is between one and four years.
The gross salary compensation will be 11888,49€ per month in the first two years, 1.273,38€ per month in the third year and 1.591,73€ per month in the fourth year.

The Institute of Cosmos Sciences is a research institute of the University of Barcelona.
